Lamborghini Revuelto: The new Supersports Car on 2023

The New Lamborghini Revuelto

Lamborghini has officially unveiled its new flagship model, the Lamborghini Revuelto, a plug-in hybrid supercar that combines a naturally aspirated V12 engine with three electric motors.

With this launch, the Italian brand clearly marks the beginning of a new era. Moreover, Lamborghini confirms its commitment to electrification while preserving the emotional performance that defines its DNA.

The Design of the Lamborghini Revuelto

At first glance, the Lamborghini Revuelto showcases the brand’s unmistakable design language. Throughout the exterior, multiple Y-shaped signatures reinforce its aggressive identity. Additionally, the aerodynamic setup delivers 70% more downforce than the Aventador, significantly improving stability at high speeds.

Inside the cabin, Lamborghini introduces an advanced three-screen layout aligned along the brand’s iconic central design line.

Digital Displays

First, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster sits directly in front of the driver. This screen displays essential driving data, including:

  • Speed

  • Engine revolutions

  • Driving mode

  • Power consumption

Next, a vertically oriented 8.4-inch central display manages infotainment and vehicle functions.

Finally, Lamborghini adds a major innovation. For the first time, a dedicated passenger display shows real-time information such as speed and engine revolutions, enhancing engagement for both occupants.

Lamborghini Revuelto: Key Features and Powertrain

Unlike previous models, the Lamborghini Revuelto adopts a sophisticated plug-in hybrid system. It pairs a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 with three electric motors.

Specifically, two electric motors sit on the front axle and actively manage torque vectoring. As a result, the Revuelto delivers sharper handling and improved cornering performance.

Meanwhile, a third electric motor integrates directly with the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, supporting both acceleration and efficiency.

Hybrid System and Performance

The Revuelto uses a 3.8 kWh battery, which drivers can recharge in different ways. For example, it fully charges in approximately 30 minutes using a 7 kW outlet. Alternatively, regenerative braking can recharge it in just six minutes.

At full output, the Lamborghini Revuelto produces an impressive 1,015 horsepower. However, this performance also results in emissions rated at 309 grams of CO₂ per kilometer.

Lamborghini Revuelto: A New Chapter for the Brand

According to Lamborghini’s leadership, the Revuelto represents a turning point in the company’s history.

“The new Revuelto is a milestone in Lamborghini’s history and an essential pillar in our Direzione Cor Tauri electrification strategy. It is a unique and innovative car, but simultaneously true to our DNA: the V12 is an iconic symbol of our supercar heritage and history…

…The Revuelto was born to break the mold, combining a new 12-cylinder engine with hybrid technology, creating the perfect balance between delivering the excitement our customers demand and reducing emissions.”
